Biodata of Authors

Dr. Sarjit Kaur is a Senior Lecturer in the English Studies Section at the School of Humanites, Universiti Sains Malaysia. She teaches BA students some of the following courses: ESP, Testing and Evaluation, Receptive & Productive Skills and Oral Communication. She is a member of the International Literacy and Research Unit (ILRU) and the International Reading Association (IRA). Her research interests include ESP, adult education, educational research and literacy issues in higher education.

Ms. Poon Sook Chun is a secondary school teacher teaching English as a Second Language in a school on Penang island. She is currently pursuing her MA in Linguistics and English Language Studies at Universiti Sains Malaysia. Her areas of special interests include writing methodology in ESL teaching-learning contexts and English for Specific Purposes.
